Open Position

– Geotechnical Instrumentation Technician:

Rite Geosystems is looking to hire a full time geotechnical instrumentation technician. This technician will support the installation and monitoring services for geotechnical and structural instrumentation at all site locations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • – Installation of geotechnical instruments at project sites
  • – Ensuring the installation is done as per instructions and the requirement
  • – Updating the initial/base recordings of the installed equipment
  • – Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • – Collecting customer/client satisfaction feedback
  • – Recommending innovative techniques for installation and faster processing of manual reports

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology is preferred. Knowledge of data management, monitoring critical data, instrumentation and monitoring installation, field implementation and the ability to prepare reports is preferred.

This position requires the individual to have knowledge of products and services offered by Rite Geosystems. The individual should have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team. He/She should have qualities of integrity, credibility, and should be committed to the mission of Rite Geosystems.

Preferred Skills

  • – Experience in civil construction sites
  • – Knowledge in soldering, wiring, electrical assembly, cabling and low voltage electrical systems
  • – Knowledge in cellular (GSM) and radio communication systems
  • – Experience in fundamental computer skills, computer-programming experience is preferred
  • – Experience in fabrication using metals
  • – Surveying experience preferred
– Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer:

Rite Geosystems is looking to hire a full time experienced geotechnical instrumentation engineer. The geotechnical instrumentation engineer will be responsible for installation and monitoring services for geotechnical and structural instrumentation at all site locations. He/She will be required to work along with site engineers and collect required data.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • – Installation of geotechnical instruments at project sites
  • – Ensuring the installation is done as per instructions and the requirement
  • – Updating the initial/base recordings of the installed equipment
  • – Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
  • – Taking ownership of customer issues reported and resolving problems
  • – Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • – Collecting customer/client satisfaction feedback
  • – Recommending innovative techniques for installation and faster processing of manual reports
